Get Connected

Bethel Biblical provides many ways for you to “get connected” with other members to form meaningful, lasting relationships, and receive the personal encouragement, support, and prayers that every believer needs. Here’s how you can get connected:

Sunday and Wednesday Services

Scripture encourages believers not to forsake the assembling together but to exhort one another and so much the more, as you see the day approaching. You can “get connected” by attending services where we are committed to teaching current and relevant issues in the Word of God so our faith will grow and as Paul said “ . . . be transformed by the renewing of our mind that we may be able to prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Prayer, the study of God’s Word, and fellowship are the key ingredients that make these services special and effective.

Fellowship Ministries

Fellowship is a very important part of every believer’s life. Good fellowship strengthens and encourages. There are many opportunities to “get connected” and enjoy a night or day out with your church family and friends. These activities include church potlucks, Christmas Banquet, Valentine fellowship, men meet weekly for Saturday prayer and breakfast, and women meet monthly for Bible study, summer picnic, and many other interesting and fun events.

Service

Serving with others is one of the best ways to “get connected”. You will get to know people and build valuable relationships while working for the kingdom of God. There are many service ministries available at the Bethel Biblical; ushers, security, children’s ministries, and hospitality, are a few.

WHY WE SUPPORT ISRAEL illustration of blue Star of David

This small nation is named over 2,600 times in the Bible: AMAZING. For over 50 years I have carefully researched these references. It becomes clear that the one Most High God has chosen this nation to bless all mankind with a Saviour (Jesus Christ) and with His Word, which answers our deep questions about life and eternity to come. — Pastor Robert Hooley

It also provides financial assistance during emergency situations, including assistance to those in need of food, clothing, and shelter, while also providing meals during difficult illnesses, surgery, and new babies.

Threaders Ministry

As the quilting bees of 100-200 years ago in America were the time when women came together to socialize and bond, so the Bethel Threaders come together once a month – for five hours – to quilt, crochet, and knit. In like manner, we are also cultivating close friendships and bonding together in love with each other and with Israel as we make hats, scarves, afghans, slippers, children’s sweaters, pot holders, dishcloths, etc. for CFI. Our motto is: “Come when you can, leave when you must.” This is an active, vibrant group; these ladies all believe the words found in Colossians 2:2:

“That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love . . . ”

Colossians 2:2

We began in October 2008, just two days after Ray & Sharon Sanders visited and presented CFI’s ministry to the church. It is open to all ladies, whether they know how to knit or crochet or not. We have a set of knitting looms to teach beginners on – they build confidence with the loom, and then learn other skills from there. We begin each meeting with “show and tell” about what we’ve been doing the last month, exchange patterns and ideas, help each other with new stitches/problems, and have a great time fellowshipping and eating. We are taking to heart the verses in Proverbs 31. Verse 13 says:

“She seeketh wool and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. V. 20 – She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth for her hands to the needy. V. 27 she eateth not the bread of idleness.”

Proverbs 31. Verse 13
